Description
Large wall mounted fire-rated pet frame and door along with a white powder-coated aluminum flap frame for the interior of your house. (PVC Closure Panel Included)
Great for pets up to 95 lbs. But the best way to confirm what size door you need is to measure your pet at the widest and tallest body area, usually the chest.
Passage opening size (flap opening) is 10 9/16″ wide by 15 3/4″ high. The rough opening for installation is 11 5/8″ wide by 16 3/4″ high.
This will fit a 2 x 4 wall.
Tip: If you have a 2 x 6 wall, you will need to purchase a wall sleeve along with your door. We can ship them together.
If you aren’t sure, call us and we can help you decide if you need a wall sleeve.

As a building inspector this is long over due. Got here right quickly and no issues with installation. I would recommend this to anyone.

So happy to have found this product! My insurance company told me I couldn’t get insurance without a fire rated dog door and this is the only one in the US I could find. Great customer service team!

With each fire season becoming more intense, this is such an important way to protect your home. The larger size is perfect for us.

HELLO FIRE SAFE PET DOORS!!
Here is my story…I never take the time to write testimonials but this is SO important…I want to share it with you and potential customers considering your product!
This has all been quite a learning curve since a conversation with a General Contractor friend of mine a couple months back, where we were talking about homeowners insurance policies and coverage and all and that led to the subject of being “Fire Rated”
I’ve always had pets…cats and dogs and have always had pet doors, usually out into the garage to the outdoors so they can do their business and have the freedom of coming and going. A litter box free home always works best!
My contractor friend has first hand knowledge of building codes and ordinances and mandatory fire rated doors and walls such as in the garage area but he did point out my pet doors were NOT Fire Rated!
He actually told me they were illegal…unfortunately…I was unaware of all this….they were installed by previous owners….they were probably unaware as well
What does all of this mean??
Well, I’ve had an education!
In the event of a FIRE…..My insurance company would be hard pressed to pay me a dime because of my use of Non-Fire Rated Pet Doors!
I’VE MADE THE SWITCH!
RATHER BE SAFE THAN SORRY
LOVE YOUR PRODUCT
I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU!
Sincerely,
John Burdick
